Job Summary

The VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team in providing mental health services to the homeless veteran population enrolled in the Alaska VA Healthcare System's Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Programs. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions, conducting assessments and screenings, and developing treatment plans to support the rehabilitation and recovery of our veterans.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide mental health services to homeless veterans, including individual and group therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment planning
* Conduct screenings and assessments to identify the needs of our veterans and develop individualized treatment plans
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our veterans
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements

* Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a program approved by COAMFTE
* Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in a State
* Experience working with homeless veterans and mental health populations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
