Job Responsibilities:

KEY DUTIES AND TASKS

The representative will be accountable for the following responsibilities, along with any additional tasks as assigned:
  • Maintains an attractive and well-stocked frozen food section to satisfy customer needs while achieving operational efficiency and productivity goals. Engages with customers warmly, addresses inquiries, and resolves issues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensures that frozen food items are fresh and marketable by adhering to rotation practices. Verifies that products are accurately priced with appropriate labels or signage. Manages spoiled or damaged goods according to company protocols.
  • Oversees the cleanliness and organization of the sales area, cooler, and storage spaces.
  • Responsible for upholding sanitation standards within the department. Adheres to cleaning schedules and departmental guidelines to ensure that workspaces, equipment, and display areas are maintained, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • May assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing deliveries, utilizing equipment such as power jacks or hand jacks, following proper training.
  • May support the recycling of cardboard and other related tasks if adequately trained.
  • Assists in monitoring inventory levels to manage stock effectively. Aims to minimize losses by adhering to time and temperature protocols. Reports any damages or discrepancies to management.
  • Facilitates the smooth operation of the department and store by collaborating with colleagues and supervisors. Committed to continuous improvement in job performance.
  • Responsible for the proper use of all company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to cut-resistant gloves and safety cutters.
  • May also be called upon to assist in other departments as needed.
SUPERVISORY ROLE

This position does not entail any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, the representative must be capable of fulfilling each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). No prior experience is necessary.
