Job Title: Frozen Food Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Frozen Food Sales Associate to join our team at Weis Markets, Inc. As a Frozen Food Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our frozen food products are fresh and appealing to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  2. Ensure that frozen food products are fresh and saleable by following rotation standards and properly pricing and tagging products.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, cooler, and backroom.
  4. Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  5. May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries, as well as baling cardboard and other related duties.
  6. Help review orders to manage inventory levels and minimize loss by following time and temperature guidelines.
  7. Ensure smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, the Associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). No prior experience required.
