Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler Inspector IV to join our team at Johnson Controls.

About the Role:

  • This is a specialized position that involves conducting quality inspections and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with sprinkler systems, reading blueprints, and interpreting diagrams.
  • You will be responsible for performing routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing, and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines.
  • Additional duties may include making minor repairs under direct supervision and completing assigned inspections on time.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly are essential.
  • You must be able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements.

Benefits:

  • $60,000 - $80,000 per year estimated salary, based on location and experience.
  • NICET III Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
