Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our preschool team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in creating a safe and engaging environment that supports the learning and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Planning: Develop a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that incorporates Jewish values and traditions, while meeting the needs of our diverse student population.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Child Development: Observe, assess, and document the developmental progress of each child, identifying areas of strength and need.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum, share best practices, and communicate effectively with parents and families.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an early childhood education setting, with a minimum of 12 ECE units completed.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of current research and practices in early childhood education, with proficiency in planning, scheduling, record-keeping, and classroom management.
  • Certifications: First Aid and CPR certifications, with the ability to lift and carry children, and work in a fast-paced environment.
