A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBING ASSISTANT
This entry-level role typically operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
As a Plumbing Assistant, you will collaborate closely with our experienced plumbers, providing essential support and acquiring valuable skills. Your responsibilities will include selecting the appropriate tools and equipment for each job, ensuring everything is prepared for a successful project. You will work under the guidance of your supervisor to assess project requirements and provide clients with cost estimates.
During each assignment, you will assist the plumber with vital labor tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. You will also help maintain a clean work environment, ensuring that the customer's property is left in excellent condition. As you develop new skills and gain experience, you will be entrusted with greater responsibilities, paving the way for career advancement in the plumbing field.
