Job Title: JAG Multi-Year Program Specialist

Job Summary:

The JAG Multi-Year Program Specialist is responsible for ensuring the success of 35-45 high school students at risk of dropping out of school or failing to transition into the workforce. The Specialist will provide targeted youth with employability and life survival skills through classroom instruction, guidance, academic remediation, work-based learning experiences, and postsecondary and career advisement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program to support students in achieving expected outcomes, including graduation and placement into postsecondary education, the workforce, or the military.
  • Provide targeted youth with employability and life survival skills through classroom instruction, guidance, academic remediation, work-based learning experiences, and postsecondary and career advisement.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for students.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure student success.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and developing and implementing programs to support student success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on student-centered outcomes.
  • Knowledge of JAG competencies and ability to develop and implement a comprehensive program to support student success.
