Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of activity programs that cater to residents' diverse backgrounds, interests, and abilities.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to ensure seamless execution of daily activities, including group and one-to-one programs.
- Provide exceptional support to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being during activities.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report any changes in resident behavior or safety concerns to the Activity Director.
- Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and engaging environment by decorating facilities and assisting with volunteer coordination.
- Ensure timely distribution of activity calendars and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and other assigned meetings to stay informed and contribute to the team's success.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Basic competencies in abuse prevention, dementia management, and infection control.
- Knowledge of OSHA Hazard Communication, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
