Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hadoop Developer Specialist to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. This role involves working on the installation, configuration, and setup of Hadoop Stack on Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in end-to-end installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of Hadoop stack, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, HBASE, Spark, and other components
  • Optimizing Hadoop cluster performance, ensuring security and reliability of the Hadoop Environment
  • Provisioning and maintaining Hadoop clusters in on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Monitoring and tuning of Hadoop clusters, optimizing resources
  • Upgrades, patch updates, version control
  • Experience with ETL pipelines and trouble-shooting is a plus
  • Automating cluster management using tools like SALT, ANSIBLE, PUPPET, CHEF
  • SQL and NOSQL database experience is a bonus
  • DevOps skills with JENKINS and containerization is a plus

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
