Business System Optimization Specialist

A highly skilled Business System Optimization Specialist is required to lead the investigation and resolution of client support issues. This role involves working independently to resolve complex issues that cannot be resolved by first-line support, while also supporting various legacy system retirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to prioritize and manage their workload effectively, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical/functional specifications in alignment with industry standards and frameworks
• Work closely with business partners, technology teams, and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage detailed functional specifications
• Develop effective and efficient solutions by researching/analyzing current state system capabilities and defining technology solutions options/recommendations
• Ability to write and execute test plans in development and production environments and carry out all necessary tasks required to implement any system change
• Create ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and presentation materials to support executive decision-making
• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the business unit/team
Manage Incremental Change
• Manage business-as-usual (BAU) changes to systems
• Onboard new products and services
• Manage official curve changes
• Provide thought leadership and project oversight for data governance and quality roadmap and implementation activities
• Scope, size, and manage data quality implementation efforts
L3 Support
• Independently investigate and resolve client support issues
• Resolve complex issues that cannot be resolved by first-line support
• Supporting various legacy system retirements
• Miscellaneous duties as required
• Train new/existing clients and implementation teams on software applications
• Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location.
