About the Job: As a Wellness Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and related services to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Manage medications and administer them according to protocols (if applicable)
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in senior care preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
