Job Overview

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Nursing Unit Support Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our nursing unit.

About the Job:

  1. The Nursing Unit Support Specialist will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling appointments, and responding to call lights.
  2. They will also be responsible for maintaining patient charts, reviewing test results, and ensuring all necessary items are available.
  3. In addition, they will maintain a clean and organized workspace, restock supplies, and complete work orders for equipment repairs.
  4. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible to work varying hours, and have the ability to multitask efficiently.

  • Familiarity with data entry software and medical terminology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year (dependent on location and experience).
