Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Associate I to join our team at Turning Point Community Programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in achieving their goals and living fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members in identifying and working towards achieving their personal goals, promoting empowerment and independence.
  • Provide vocational support and education to help members develop skills and confidence.
  • Collaborate with staff and members to develop and implement activities, programming, and groups that promote socialization and community engagement.
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation among agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in medication outreach and coordination, ensuring timely and effective communication between healthcare providers and members.
  • Educate community members and other agencies about mental health services and resources.
  • Transport members to appointments and activities, as well as conduct field visits and medication outreach.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support, ensuring the safety and well-being of members.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation.
  • Assist members in accessing and maintaining stable housing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; lived experience a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing direct mental health services; optimum qualifications involve 2-4 years of experience.
  • California driver's license and current vehicle insurance/registration required.
Work Schedule

Sunday to Thursday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
