Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to comprehend their budgetary constraints and requirements, providing guidance and support to fulfill their needs.
- Adhere to company and departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions to source and procure, negotiate, manage supplier relationships, and ensure contract compliance.
- Lead the execution of simple to moderately complex RFI/RFQs and negotiation strategies that achieve favorable market pricing and overall cost management.
- Oversee the supplier selection and approval process while developing and maintaining essential supplier relationships.
- Implement a supplier evaluation process to effectively manage supplier performance.
- Facilitate the purchase order and agreement with the chosen supplier, ensuring all necessary approvals are secured prior to contract execution.
- Manage the commercial aspects of contracts, ensuring timely delivery from suppliers.
- Assist Accounts Payable in resolving invoice-related issues and complete receipt in ERP for approved invoices.
- Maintain all required procurement records and documentation systems.
- Foster a positive attitude towards stakeholders, suppliers, management, and colleagues.
- Support Belcan's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and expectations within the supply chain.
- Assess business impacts and align with stakeholders to effectively evaluate risk levels, manage supply continuity, develop contingency plans, and establish risk management strategies.
- Propose continuous improvements to procurement and related processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in sourcing or procurement.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards World, ServiceNow, or other ERP purchasing systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Windows operating system, Office applications, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IT software procurement.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills.
- Basic data analysis capabilities.
- Aptitude for conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of procurement practices.
- Ability to cultivate key working relationships with stakeholders.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compensation:
Belcan offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000, taking into account various factors such as education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits may include healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), education assistance, and paid time off, including PTO, holidays, and any other legally required paid leave.
