Position Title: Strategic Partner Sales Executive

Role Summary: To drive significant growth and enhance our strategic partner ecosystem, we are establishing a dedicated Strategic Partner Sales (SPS) team. This team will report directly to the President of the Americas and will work closely with the Head of Cognizant's Global Partner Ecosystem (GPE). The SPS initiative aims to amplify the effectiveness of our partnerships and support long-term growth by facilitating sales across all strategic partners in collaboration with our commercial teams. The initial focus will be on hyperscalers and our most critical partners. Over time, the SPS team will concentrate on five primary objectives:

1. Align the efforts of our commercial teams with the Global Partner Ecosystem.

2. Collaborate with GPE and Service Line leaders to optimize sales of co-developed solution offerings.

3. Strengthen relationships with partner leadership to synchronize activities and drive growth.

4. Identify emerging opportunities, market trends, and investment strategies across business units.

5. Coordinate business plans with partners and internal leaders for targeted collaborative selling.

The BFSI Strategic Partner Sales Executive will oversee strategic partnerships within the Banking, Capital Markets, Financial Services, and Insurance sectors. This role is essential for fostering growth within Cognizant Americas and will report to the Senior Vice President of SPS. The Executive will collaborate with senior BFSI leaders from Cognizant and our strategic partners to:

· Strategically map key relationships in BFSI and establish strong connections between Cognizant BFSI commercial teams and GPE leaders.

· Initial focus: Hyperscalers (MSFT, GCP, AWS); Salesforce, ServiceNow

· Develop and implement strategies to enhance total contract value (TCV) through strategic partnerships.

· Collaborate with BFSI SBU Heads and GPE leaders to shape deals with select partners to maximize win rates and overall TCV.

· Work alongside Service Line Sales Leaders and GPE to capitalize on sales opportunities for co-developed solutions.

· Identify and nurture relationships with key strategic partner stakeholders.

· Collaborate with GPE to strengthen ties with strategic partners' leadership to enhance alignment and drive momentum.

· Support GPE in achieving annual partner performance goals.

· Own industry targets by partner and develop a robust collaborative selling pipeline.

· Serve as the BFSI subject matter expert for GPE leads and the primary point of contact for commercial teams engaging with strategic partners. Familiarity with specific solutions in areas such as Payments, Asset and Wealth Management, Property & Casualty, Life & Annuity, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, and Market Infrastructure is essential.

· Monitor BFSI industry trends and competitor activities to refine investment strategies, business models, and action plans to seize market opportunities.

· Represent Cognizant at BFSI and partner events and conferences.

Preferred Qualifications:

(A) 10-12 years of relevant experience in BFSI with a proven track record in strategic partnerships and sales.

(B) Demonstrated ability to cultivate collaborative relationships and drive towards shared objectives.

(C) Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced global matrix environment.
