Role Summary:

The Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of University Outreach Coordinator. This position is ideal for someone who possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a deep understanding of the educational challenges faced by Native American students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and execute recruitment strategies, communication efforts, and outreach initiatives targeting current, prospective, and former students.
  2. Assist potential applicants throughout the application process for The Indian University of North America.
  3. Develop and sustain relationships with educational partners, including high school counselors, college advisors, and various educational institutions.
  4. Provide direct support to students in their post-secondary planning and academic advising.
  5. Offer ongoing assistance to alumni of The Indian University of North America.
  6. Engage in both on-site responsibilities and travel as required.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or at least two years of relevant experience working with Indigenous students or organizations. Candidates must hold a valid South Dakota driver's license, have reliable transportation, and be insurable. Preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe.
