Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Systems Engineer who can enhance and maintain our technological infrastructure, demonstrating excellent troubleshooting capabilities as required. At Data-Core Systems, you will work alongside a committed group of IT experts across diverse industry sectors.

Core Responsibilities
  • Oversee network infrastructure elements including routers, firewalls, and connectivity solutions
  • Ensure data protection, manage network access controls, and implement robust backup systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications
  • Manage the rollout and integration of new hardware and software solutions
  • Comply with Security and Privacy Standards consistently
  • Assist in Security Audit processes and implement corrective actions
  • Design and execute a thorough system backup management strategy
  • Administer the in-house Asterisk (VoIP) telephony system
  • Quickly resolve infrastructure challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Automate processes using scripting and other techniques to minimize manual tasks
  • Create and maintain documentation for all infrastructure enhancements and designs
  • Facilitate product deployment in On-Premise environments followed by Cloud transitions
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A BS degree in a Computer-related field is preferred
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering and IT support
  • Possess certifications in related areas
  • Expertise in computer networks, administration, and installation including LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, VoIP, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VLANs
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and software systems
  • Familiarity with popular databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience in setting up, configuring, and maintaining Windows Web Services (IIS, FTP, SFTP)
  • Background in managing VoIP telephony systems
  • Exposure to Office-365 administration
  • Knowledge of Cloud services like Azure or AWS is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with VMWare
