Job Title: Metal Plating Chemical Engineer

At Total Aerospace Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Metal Plating Chemical Engineer to join our team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for metal parts through electroplating processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electroplating Process Management: Perform electroplating processes on metal parts, adhering to specifications and quality standards.
  • Chemical Solution Monitoring: Monitor plating solutions, chemicals, and materials carefully to ensure optimal results.
  • Quality Control: Conduct tests and inspections to guarantee coating quality and maintain detailed records of all plating processes and solutions.
  • Collaboration and Guidance: Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and troubleshooting, and provide guidance on chemical processes and safety practices.
  • Production Oversight: Direct and oversee production processes and efficiency, and complete environmental reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in metal plating.
  • Skills: Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques, ability to lift 35 pounds, and strong knowledge of chemistry as it relates to plating.
