Child and Family Mobile Therapist

The Community-Based Mobile Therapist (MT) delivers comprehensive therapeutic interventions to children and their families in various environments outside the traditional office setting. These environments may include the child's residence, religious institutions, community centers, educational facilities, or other local venues. The therapeutic approach is centered around the child and emphasizes family involvement. The MT collaborates as part of a multi-disciplinary team to guarantee that high-quality care is provided and deemed medically necessary. Additionally, the MT oversees the Community and School-Based Behavioral Health team, which consists of Behavioral Health Technicians.


To qualify for this role, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
1. Hold a valid license in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker.
2. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a social worker or behavior specialist.
3. Possess a graduate degree with a minimum of nine credits specifically related to clinical practice in psychology, social work, or counseling.
