Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical abilities and develop personalized care plans to address their needs.
  • Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions to clients in their homes, using a variety of techniques and modalities to promote healing and recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure that their needs are met and that they are informed and engaged in their care.
  • Document client progress and outcomes, and participate in regular team meetings to discuss client care and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a home health care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and achieving excellent outcomes.
