Key Responsibilities:
- Execute standard retail banking functions, including: safe deposit box services, cash handling, processing credit card advances, redeeming U.S. Savings Bonds, issuing cashier's checks, and accepting loan payments and deposits while verifying cash and endorsements.
- Manage incoming client phone calls, prioritizing and escalating as necessary.
- Investigate and confirm account details, resolving client issues as needed.
- Inform clients about banking services, products, and digital capabilities by maintaining a thorough understanding of all relevant offerings.
- Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
- Uphold high ethical standards and comply with all policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable laws.
- Ensure full compliance with BSA, Reg CC, and all other relevant regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Assist with backup functions such as processing check orders.
- Support the Client Experience Officer with opening and closing tasks.
Required:
- Accuracy in cash handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
- Effective communication skills while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Consistent and professional attendance and appearance.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and calculators.
- Capability to multi-task while promptly acknowledging clients in person and over the phone.
- Knowledge of retail banking regulations and procedures.
- Successful completion of all required training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in banking, particularly in both teller and platform roles.
- Familiarity with banking systems such as Horizon XE.
