Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Access Specialist to join our team at Terry Reilly Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting and Registration: Greet and register patients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring accurate collection of required data.
  • Scheduling and Eligibility: Schedule and register patients, determine eligibility for services, and counsel patients regarding payment policies.
  • Waiting Room Management: Manage the waiting room atmosphere, keeping patients informed about wait times and ensuring a comfortable and clean waiting area.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide strong customer service to a complex patient population.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to navigate multiple computer software programs, including EHR and Microsoft Office products.
  • Self-Motivation: Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Reception Experience: Experience as a receptionist in a medical, dental, or social services setting.
  • Bookkeeping Skills: Strong bookkeeping or accounting skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual Abilities: Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish).
