Senior Pastry Chef

Position Summary: The role involves planning, preparing, and executing high-quality pastry items for a prestigious dining establishment. The individual will ensure that all culinary creations meet the standards set by the executive culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain a clean and efficient workstation.
- Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines to deliver exceptional pastry items.
- Collaborate with the sous chef to ensure timely service and quality control.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while preparing food.
- Participate in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a culinary environment.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Proven experience in a similar role as per industry standards.
- Basic mathematical skills for recipe adjustments and inventory management.
Desirable:
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution.
- Food safety and sanitation certifications.
- Multilingual communication skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
