Rehabilitation Therapy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapy Technician to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize therapy equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Maintain a well-organized work area by restocking supplies, ordering equipment, and setting up treatment areas.
- Assist with patient care activities, including functional mobility training, strengthening exercises, and ROM activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, such as mentoring volunteers and interns, conducting audits, and maintaining various logs.
- Assist with clerical tasks, including scheduling and data entry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience serving people and working in a healthcare setting.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with all customers and co-workers.
