About the Role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at our Plymouth, Indiana location. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of company equipment, performing electrical repairs and scheduled inspections, and reviewing and leading electrical safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure operation of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility
  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures
  • Review and lead electrical safety program for the plant maintenance team
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair any problem of any electrical/mechanical nature
  • Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures, including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures, in everyday work routine
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes, including the addition of new devices and hardware
  • Serve as safety program leader
  • Various other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Two to three years of Industrial Electrician/Maintenance experience
  • Ability to work on machines and electrical components
  • Ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Comfortable with technology and good computer aptitude, including Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to schedule work/jobs and follow up on completion status
  • High diligence, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Uphold health and safety to the highest standard
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree in Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field
  • Journeymen license
  • Experience with work order and part inventory system
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
  • Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment experience
  • Experience with E-Maintenance (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory
