Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation devices.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Program Leadership: Lead and implement electrical safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Quality Systems: Adhere to all quality systems and safety procedures, including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance electrical system performance and safety.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-3 years of industrial electrician/maintenance experience.
- Skills: Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), ability to interpret and apply electrical codes and regulations.
- Physical Demands: Ability to climb and work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work in various environmental conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to learn company-specific applications.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree: In a technical, electrical, or mechanical field.
- Journeymen License: Electrical or mechanical trade.
- Experience with Automation and PLC: Knowledge and/or experience with automation and programmable logic controls.
- Industrial Maintenance Experience: Previous experience with industrial maintenance work, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation, and controls.
