We are currently in search of an Industrial Electrical Technician to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the functionality of company machinery, including electrical systems, mechanical components, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct electrical repairs and routine inspections of equipment, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Lead and review the electrical safety initiatives for the maintenance team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical or mechanical issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality systems and safety regulations, including Environmental standards, OSHA, and PSM procedures in daily operations.
  • Propose enhancements for safety through electrical initiatives and process modifications, including the integration of new devices and hardware.
  • Act as the leader for safety programs.
  • Perform various other assigned tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Essential Skills:
  • Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC) and ability to interpret it.
  • Two to three years of experience in Industrial Electrical or Maintenance roles.
  • A passion for working with machinery and electrical systems.
  • View challenges as opportunities for troubleshooting and solution implementation.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, standing, and lifting up to fifty (50) lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Possession of a valid US Driver's License.
  • Comfortable with technology and proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a willingness to learn company-specific software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on job completion.
  • Team-oriented with proactive communication skills and adaptability to change.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards, ensuring adherence to protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Dedication to supporting operational uptime and willing to work the necessary hours to achieve this goal.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree in Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical fields.
  • Journeyman license.
  • Experience with work order and inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
  • Prior experience in industrial maintenance involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, instrumentation, controls, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Familiarity with E-Maintenance or similar systems for managing work orders and parts inventory.

  • This position requires full-time presence at the Corteva location.
