About the Role

Aretum, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Specialist to contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Development: Author and edit professional work documents, including policy statements, standard operating procedures, governance guides, desk guides, quick guides, instructional manuals, process diagrams, communications documents, briefings, and more.
  • Tool Development: Develop, update, and maintain MS Power Apps and MS Power BI tools as needed.
  • Project Support: Provide support to projects, taskings, and programs as requested.
  • Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in the use of standard office automation software, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance on finished work products to ensure accuracy and completeness with minimal revisions or edits.
  • Business Ownership: Assume ownership of business deliverable content.
  • Process Modernization: Play a supporting role in all phases of business process modernization.
  • Status Updates: Provide weekly or monthly status updates as required.
  • Support and Collaboration: Support FLETC working groups and attend meetings as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years' experience designing, developing, and configuring custom Microsoft (MS) PowerApps applications and MS Power BI dashboards/visualizations.
  • Technical Skills: 2 years' experience with MS Power Apps and MS Power BI, adept with MS Office Suite.
  • Language and Citizenship: Organized, self-disciplined, and able to read and write English. Ability to pass a federal background investigation (Public Trust) and be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: 4-year degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience working in education and/or the federal government.
  • Clearance: Existing DHS (Department of Homeland Security) or CBP Entry on Duty suitability.
