About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst - II to join our team at North American Lighting. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for performing information security risk assessments, security improvement processes, and administration of security-related software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and support anti-virus solutions, host-based IPS, and security-related software to protect our IT infrastructure from external or internal threats.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and report suspicious activity and actual or potential security violations.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and take appropriate action to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
  • Test and implement new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions.
  • Promote IT security education and awareness throughout the company.
  • Participate in capital and expense budget planning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Management or Technology, or related discipline, plus 2 – 4 years of professional experience in IT in the role of a Security Analyst in a technical environment.
  • Experience in two or more of the following (or equivalent): Symantec Endpoint protection, Syslog, Lotus Domino Suite of Products, Microsoft WSUS, RADIUS.
  • Experience with three of the following is preferred: Wireless Networking, Scripting Languages, Windows/Linux Server Administration, VPNs, Network Analyzers, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Penetration Testing.
