Position Overview

The HVAC Installation Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail to meet both company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of HVAC Systems: Execute the installation of HVAC equipment in accordance with company protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Electrical Wiring: Conduct wiring tasks for low voltage systems connected to heating and cooling units.
  • Refrigerant Line Installation: Install copper refrigerant lines for air conditioning systems, utilizing brazing and soldering techniques.
  • Ductwork Assembly: Assemble and install flexible and sheet metal duct systems in both commercial and residential settings.
  • Gas Line Connections: Ensure proper connection of gas lines to heating systems.
  • Material Assessment: Pre-measure and determine the appropriate materials required for installation tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide support to colleagues to ensure timely completion of projects as directed by management.
  • Professional Relationships: Foster positive working relationships with supervisors and team members.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork related to each installation job.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation.
  • Experience in new construction projects is essential.
  • Proficient in ductwork installation.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
  • Dependable and honest character.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Ability to differentiate between various HVAC systems.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional demeanor representing the company effectively.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation for job-related travel.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  • Capability to lift up to 100 lbs safely.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures of 120°F or higher for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Physical ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, and kneel regularly.
