We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Chico's FAS. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in promoting a customer-focused sales culture and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Store Manager in executing sales strategies and analyzing sales reports to determine business needs.
- Establish and communicate clear expectations to store teams, holding them accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Control payroll and supply budgets, and perform basic operational activities such as scheduling, target shrink audits, and merchandise flow processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, loss prevention policies, and operating procedures, and conduct associate training to reinforce proper controls.
- Develop a high-performance culture, motivating sales teams to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of retail management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
- Proven excellent customer service skills with statistical track records in sales and leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.
- Constant walking/standing (8-hour shift).
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
- Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).
