Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in media buying/planning, particularly in commercial or political sectors, with a solid understanding of the mechanics involved in purchasing media space.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with social advertising platforms such as Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Familiarity with research and analytics tools like SEM Rush, Funnel, Dataroma, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience in managing complex digital media campaigns with various KPIs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising platforms such as The Trade Desk, Xandr, Verizon, StackAdapt, DV360, etc.
  • Background in Digital Media/Marketing, including experience with Facebook ads (both paid and organic).

Daily Responsibilities:

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Media Planner to support one of our clients in the Arlington, VA area. This role will be pivotal in coordinating the planning, targeting, placement, and measurement of online media marketing for strategic clients and partners. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing targeted media campaigns across various social media platforms to achieve optimal ROI for clients. Project planning will be a significant aspect of this role, with the potential to manage over 15 clients simultaneously, making effective time management and task prioritization essential.

Team Insights:

  • Focus on the commercial aspect of ad purchasing.
  • Involvement in Media Planning, Ad Buying, and Media Buying.
  • Engagement in purchasing ads on social media platforms.
  • The creative aspect of ads will be handled by the team; this role focuses on execution.
  • Technical proficiency is necessary to navigate the systems effectively.
  • Simultaneous management of multiple clients is expected.
  • Responsibilities include executing the strategies developed by the team.
  • Familiarity with various advertising platforms is acceptable.
  • Two key components of ad buying will be involved.
  • Programmatic ad buying will include creating campaigns and scheduling ad purchases based on specific criteria.
