As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages: Mix and serve cocktails, beers, and wines to customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service: Engage with customers, take orders, and respond to their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area: Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, and ensure that the bar area is clean and well-maintained.
  • Assess customer needs and preferences: Use your knowledge of wine and mixology to make recommendations and provide a personalized experience for customers.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations: Ensure that all beverages are served in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of mixology and wine: You should have a strong understanding of wine and mixology, including the ability to mix and serve a wide range of beverages.
  • Excellent communication skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and provide a positive and welcoming experience for all.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: You should be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Computer literacy: You should have basic computer skills, including the ability to use a point-of-sale system and manage inventory.

Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $10 per hour, plus tips in accordance with DC law. With tips, our employees average in the $25-$40 per hour range.
