JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is in search of a detail-oriented Cultivation Supervisor to manage the daily operations of the Vegetative and Propagation rooms. Reporting to the Senior Garden Manager, the Cultivation Supervisor will lead a team, ensuring adherence to processes, training protocols, schedules, policies, and procedures while achieving all production targets.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Oversee the daily activities of cultivation leads and staff, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Act as a mentor and resource for cultivation personnel regarding products, services, policies, industry updates, and regulatory changes.
- Assign daily tasks to gardening staff based on the garden calendar.
- Collaborate with the Cultivation Manager to communicate accurate information to the cultivation team.
- Manage primary responsibilities within mother, propagation, and vegetative departments.
- Ensure the production of healthy, consistent, high-quality mother plants and clones.
- Supervise plant care, staff training, and adherence to Cresco standards.
- Lead teams in tasks such as topping, skirting, transplanting, and relocating plants.
- Provide daily updates on plant health, scheduling, and staff to the Senior Garden Manager.
- Coordinate pest management practices with the IPM Lead to guarantee disease-free and healthy plants entering the flowering stages.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records for all cultivation activities, including employee records, inventory, crop applications, and harvest data in compliance with state regulations and Cresco standards.
- Support data entry, employee scheduling, and payroll as directed by the Senior Garden Manager.
- Monitor cultivation software during operational hours and oversee weekend activities.
- Assist with hiring and termination processes for the designated flower team.
- Supervise vegetative teams across multiple facilities.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in plant biology, physiology, biological sciences, or agricultural sciences, or equivalent experience in managing a large-scale agricultural facility.
- OSHA certification in Safety training is preferred.
- Experience supervising a team of 8-12 workers.
- Knowledge of cannabis cultivation practices, facility operations, fertigation systems, defoliation, transplanting, cloning, and plant health identification.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning, and assessment skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, database management, and point of sale systems.
- Experience with cannabis software for monitoring and adjusting environmental conditions, feeding schedules, and plant stress points is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical cannabis policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with local and state compensation laws, the estimated starting hourly rate is $29/hr. Final offer details and future compensation may be influenced by various factors, including geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant considerations.
