Job Overview

As a key member of our restaurant team, the PM Supervisor Restaurant will assist the Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor servers, runners, and other restaurant associates to ensure adherence to service standards and SOPs, including uniform and appearance standards.
  • Supervise the service of guests, being attentive to their needs and ensuring timely service.
  • Assist the manager in establishing and monitoring side-work duty completion, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment.
  • Manage the bank to SOP, ensuring accuracy and security at all times.
  • Review daily communication sheets from previous shifts and prepare one for the following shift, ensuring continuity and coverage.
  • Conduct regular checks on the restaurant's cleanliness and setup, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Communicate daily with the Restaurant Manager regarding special events, house counts, and other important details.
  • Assist in conducting menu classes and taste panels to ensure menu knowledge and quality.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

A high school education or equivalent is required.

Experience

At least one to two years of experience in a related position, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices, including management of people and complex problems.
  • Excellent oral communication skills for interacting with guests and associates, issuing instructions, and communicating policies.
  • Strong comprehension skills for assisting with guest and associate matters, interpreting instructions from superiors.
  • Excellent vision for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, reading floor plans, charts, and schedules.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying tables, chairs, trays, plates, and chaffing dishes, as well as bending and standing for extended periods.

Environment

This role requires working primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and conditions.
