Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a Field Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment to apply herbicides and pesticides to crops, while maintaining accurate records and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to crops in accordance with company guidelines and regulations
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and other machinery
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing repairs as needed
  • Keep accurate records of applications, including log books and spray records
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain pesticide applicator certification
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience operating large equipment, such as tractors and sprayers, required
  • Class A or B CDL required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Environment

As a Field Equipment Operator, you will work in a warehouse and distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. You will be required to work near moving equipment and mechanical parts, and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemical hazards.
