Currently, we are seeking a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in designing ground profiles for ropeways, as well as concrete foundations and structural steel components essential for various aerial ropeway systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize specialized software to demonstrate an understanding of ski lift profile design principles.
  • Design concrete foundations to support terminal and tower structures, including generator pads and operator house footings.
  • Create structural steel components such as tower tubes and walkways.
  • Provide technical support to the customer service department as needed.
  • Engage in project engineering activities for increasingly complex projects, aligned with your experience.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by project circumstances.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret project documents and understand project scope.
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary engineering design team.
  • Proficient in designing structures and their components.
  • Knowledgeable about construction practices, ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness in designs.
  • Ability to determine project design loads in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Experience in designing structural steel and concrete elements per industry standards.
  • Preparation of calculations, specifications, and drawings for permits and construction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and authorities regarding design requirements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for field commissioning support.

Educational Background:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a focus on structural design.

Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Structural Engineering, with an emphasis on concrete and steel design.

Work Experience:

0-5 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in AutoCAD and solid modeling software such as Siemens NX or Solidworks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MathCAD is also desirable.
