About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Lochner. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of heavy civil design projects, focusing on transportation-related structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural engineering calculations from preliminary to final design, under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
  • Produce drawings and develop cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with project staff, including other disciplines.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate, or up to 4 years of structural design experience required.
  • BSCE is required.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering passed, or a demonstrated ability to achieve within a year of joining Lochner.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Strong commitment to client service, both internal and external, is required.
