About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Operations Manager to join our team at Adient. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of production workers and ensuring the efficient operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and production standards.
  • Review production orders to plan department operations and establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Develop and implement operational schedules to ensure production meets specifications and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
  • Compile and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement standard operational and working practices to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and coaching to production team members to ensure a fully qualified and quality-conscious workforce.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Experience in an automotive environment is preferred.
  • Able to work on 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 11:00pm).
