Job Summary

The Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Registration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Access Department, this individual will be responsible for managing patient registration processes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate and efficient registration of patients for various hospital services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview and accurately collect patient information and demographics for various hospital services
  • Verify and coordinate benefits on behalf of patients
  • Manage payments at point of service and conduct cash receipting
  • Assist patients with financial clearance of accounts
  • Manage accounts to meet productivity standards

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office environment
  • Accurate data entry skills and ability to use basic computer hardware
