Civil Engineer - Forensics Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage forensic engineering assignments, performing thorough assessments and providing expert reports to clients.
  • Conduct on-site interviews with clients and stakeholders to gather information and data.
  • Photograph and document site conditions, applying critical thinking to determine cause and effect.
  • Develop and maintain project data management practices, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and retrieval of information.
  • Supervise junior engineers in field work, report development, and research, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Develop and deliver reports outlining site observations, applicable codes, standards, findings, and conclusions.
  • Testify in legal proceedings, as required, in correlation to work product.
Requirements:
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering; M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in field services, project sites, new construction, forensics, and/or concrete restoration services.
  • Residential and/or Commercial inspection and assessment experience is a plus.
