Job Summary:

This is a Leave of Absence Coordinator role.

  • Coordinates the administration of employee leave of absence programs such as disability, FMLA, workers compensation, military and personal leave.
  • Advises employees on eligibility, status, and other matters related to leave of absence.
  • Consults with and advises employees on eligibility, provisions, and other matters related to leave of absence.
  • Responds to cases forwarded by the Employee Services Unit call center.
  • Maintains leave records and documents. Maintains and operates absence management systems and keeps leave status up to date in two leave systems.
  • May perform pay related calculations due to leave of absence.
  • Assists in the review/update of leave related information or communications.
  • Completes other leave plans related tasks as needed.
  • Provides support to leave managers and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate leave of absence programs for employees

• Advise employees on leave eligibility and status

• Maintain accurate leave records and documents

• Operate absence management systems and keep leave status up to date

• Perform pay related calculations due to leave of absence

• Assist in reviewing and updating leave related information
