We are seeking a skilled Leave Specialist to join our team at Renewal By Andersen. As a Leave Specialist, you will be responsible for managing leave of absence and accommodation requests for employees, ensuring compliance with company objectives and regional regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Process and track leave of absence and accommodation requests, including WC, FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA, and State claims.
- Provide guidance and support to employees, managers, and HR business partners on leave management procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with the Employee Leave and Disability Solutions team to ensure consistent and compliant leave administration.
- Communicate with outsourced provider companies regarding pending claims and leave administration.
- Support claims administration by retrieving payroll reports, benefit summaries, and completing supplemental documentation.
- Partner with Human Resources Business Partners and RTW Specialists to manage absences, return to work plans, and absence management.
- Evaluate and propose changes to policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Consult with legal counsel to ensure all processes and plans are up to date with regulatory changes.
- Generate and communicate leave notifications to managers, providing regular updates and reporting to the business.
- 5-7 years of experience in leave management or a related field.
- Demonstrated high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships in a customer-centric environment.
- Knowledge of medical diagnostic procedures, treatment parameters, and rehabilitation programs.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
