Heluna Health seeks a highly skilled Database Administrator to oversee various Bridge HIV databases. This full-time, grant-funded position offers an estimated salary of $59,350 per year, based on 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year. The successful candidate will work closely with the Bridge HIV Principal Investigator to develop data queries for statistical analyses of study data, create complex computerized questionnaires in Qualtrics and Redcap, and deploy a fully integrated calendar and scheduling functionality within the Afie database.

Job Description

This is a temporary, grant-funded position that requires in-person work at our office location. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing new databases for Bridge HIV research studies
  • Modifying existing ACCESS databases, creating reports, forms, queries, and VBA code, and adding/ changing functionality
  • Maintaining SQL Server Database
  • Deploying a fully integrated calendar and scheduling functionality within the Afie database
  • Providing leadership on the Alfie Working Group to obtain input on programming needs, determine priorities, and identify functional requirements for new projects
  • Developing basic data queries for statistical analyses of study data
  • Meeting with individual users to determine user specifications for specific functions or reports
  • Performing systems analysis and software development to create complex computerized questionnaires in REDCap data capture system

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who can provide leadership on the Alfie Working Group, develop data queries for statistical analyses of study data, and create complex computerized questionnaires in Qualtrics and Redcap. If you have a strong background in database design and management, and experience working with SQL Server, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in database administration, including designing and developing databases, modifying existing databases, and maintaining SQL Server Database
  • Experience working with Qualtrics and Redcap data capture system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
