">Job Description">

This role involves working closely with the WWSO Startup team to develop go-to-market plans that turn Amazon Web Services ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. As a Cloud Database Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for easing adoption, developing pipeline, securing lighthouse customers, driving top-line revenue, and exploring strategic partnerships.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as with developers and technical architects, to facilitate ease of use, drive revenue growth, and secure key customer relationships.">
  • Become a trusted business advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.">
  • Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams, technology and consulting partner channels, and collaborate with Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems.">
  • Own the Startup GTM strategy and execution for AWS Database in the western US, collaborating with Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.">
">Requirements">
  • ">
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in GTM, Sales, or Consulting.">
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in database management systems, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data warehouse solutions.">
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.">
  • Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.">
  • Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.">
