About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at the Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary laryngology clinic alongside fellowship-trained laryngologists and participate in a rotational program within the Baylor Scott & White The Voice Center under the leadership of our Voice Medical Director. You will be responsible for assessing patients with voice, upper airway, and/or swallowing deficits as part of the treatment team with physicians and other providers.

This position allows for continued leadership opportunities within the BSWIR voice community, which prides itself on its strong team of SLPs who practice in a variety of specialty areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subspecialized voice, airway, resonance, and swallowing disorders, with a minimum of three years of experience in a medical setting. A Voice Fellowship is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat voice and upper airway disorders in patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostics which may include: acoustics, aerodynamics, videostroboscopy, and flexible endoscopic evaluations of swallowing (FEES).

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Current SLP License from the State of Texas
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
