Job Summary:

This position involves working closely with a professor to contribute to blended modality teaching at American University in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the technical operations of hyflex classes, which combine online and in-person class time.
  • Liaise with AU's A/V department to ensure seamless technical support.
  • Facilitate communication between online students and in-person faculty and students.

Requirements:

  • Good academic standing with a strong GPA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
