Pet Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Pet Care Specialist in the Seattle Metro & Capitol Hill area. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch care to our furry clients, ensuring their happiness and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide dog walking and pet sitting services for regular, one-time, and vacation-care clients.
- Administer medication, feed, and provide light housekeeping as needed.
- Communicate with clients and the Frolic office through our app, providing daily updates and photos.
- Update our team on client and pet information, ensuring seamless care.
- Monitor pet health and safety, reporting any concerns to the Frolic office.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required.
- Located within 15 minutes of the Seattle Metro/Capitol Hill areas (highly preferred).
- Reliable smartphone with data package, messaging, GPS, email, phone, and camera required.
- Full and up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19 required.
- Able to walk, kneel, squat, bend, lift, push, pull, grasp, and balance while caring for pets.
- Able to lift 60lbs+ from ground to table when necessary.
- Able to walk at a moderate-to-fast pace in all weather conditions.
- Possess a high level of patience, calm demeanor, and problem-solving attitude.
- Attention to detail regarding written instructions and pet health.
- Self-motivated and able to stay on task with little or no supervision.
- Friendly and outgoing personality, able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional manner.
- $20-22/hr starting, depending on experience.
- 60% of what we bill the client for Stand Alone services.
- Paid training, both online and in the field.
- Team members with full-time positions are eligible for medical and other benefits after a standard waiting period.
