Pet Care Specialist

Frolic Pet Services is a locally-owned professional pet care company that has been servicing clients in the Puget Sound region since 2008. We are seeking passionate and dedicated animal lovers to join our team of pet-loving employees who provide a wide variety of pet care services to clients all over the region.
Job SummaryWe are currently hiring Part-Time Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters to join our team. As a Dog Walker and Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, professional, and loving care to all pets assigned to you. This includes dog walking, pet sitting duties, and providing daily updates and cute pet photos via app.
Responsibilities- Provide dog walking and pet sitting services for regular, one-time, and vacation-care clients
- Communicate with the Frolic office and clients, and provide daily updates and cute pet photos via app
- Update our team about changes with clients, pets, locations, keys, instructions, etc.
- Be able to keep an attentive eye out for potential issues or problems; provide overall quality care in relation to health and safety of all the pets you work with
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable and insured vehicle required
- Reliable smartphone with data package, messaging, GPS, email, phone, and camera required
- We require full and up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19 as recommended by the CDC
- Able to consistently and repetitively walk, kneel, squat, bend, lift, push, pull, grasp, and balance while walking/caring for pets
- Able to lift 60lbs+ from ground to table when necessary
- Able to walk at a moderate-to-fast pace for long periods of time in all weather conditions
- Possess a high level of patience, calm demeanor, and problem-solving attitude
- Attention to detail regarding written instructions and pet health
- Self-motivated and able to stay on task with little or no supervision
- Friendly and outgoing personality, able to interact with clients and co-workers in a consistently professional manner
- Most importantly, must love animals
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20-22 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, team members with full-time positions are eligible for medical and other benefits after a standard waiting period.
Locations AvailableThis job listing is for positions servicing the North Seattle area, but we have clients in various locations throughout the Puget Sound region. We are looking for candidates who are able to travel to different locations and provide services to clients in their area.
