Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at the Leominster Adult Outpatient Center. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide direct clinical treatment to adults, including diagnostic evaluations and screenings, crisis/emergency assessment and intervention, treatment planning and assessment, individual, group, couple and family therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical treatment to adults, including diagnostic evaluations and screenings, crisis/emergency assessment and intervention, treatment planning and assessment, individual, group, couple and family therapy.
- Participate in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.
- Consult with doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services, and case management.
- Maintain client records and administrative records according to Center policy.
- Attend administrative staff meetings as required.
- Attend in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required.
- Participates in required trainings.
- Performs other related duties.
- Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and practices to determine appropriate level of care.
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care.
- Clinical expertise specific to adults with chronic, persistent, and/or severe behavioral health conditions with an ability to engage clients effectively and work with other professionals and organizations.
